Reading exercises
Study the text on p. 81- 84. Answer the questions on p. 84 Gaining Ground.
Study the text on 91-92. Answer the questions on p. 93 Gaining Ground.
Study the text on p. 101-103. Answer the questions on p. 104 Gaining Ground.
Do the exercise on summeries on p. 111. Reading Check.
Next Tuesday, the correct answers will be found on the blog. Make sure you have had time to finish all the questions before that, or the exercise will be of no use to you.
Now, practice the words on the texts. You will get a test on each text. Tell me when you have studied them and I will give you the correct test. You may choose what ever order you want. If you want to start with the last chapter, it is all right with me! Make sure you have done all the test before Tuesday the 2/10.

Further Instructions for the Country
On the 7th of February you will have to hand in an individual essay of one page (font: New Times Roman, size 12, line space 1,5). The essay will contain your own words on the topic: My country and ... an interest of yours (football, film, music).
If working in pairs, the oral presentation has to be ten minutes in total. You and your friend will use an equal amount of time to present the country, that is five minutes each. All the features from previous instructions must be included in the presentation. You and your friend will divide the topics between each other. You will also include the special area of interest in your oral presentations.
If working alone, the oral presentation has to be at least five minutes but you are allowed to use a maximum time phrame of ten minutes.
